Great food and staff. Owner found me wandering around looking for the place and greeted me. Had a great home cooked meal. This was my first time there and will be back as well as spreading the word.

Came in for Fathers Day breakfast. We’re told food will take a little bit but it will be excellent. Food is excellent, we’re very happy. Will definitely come back. Prices are fair, and Pappy himself checked on us a couple times, service is quality.

We drive from Happy Valley. We love their food and staff and you can't beat their prices. We have taken a lot of friends and groups there and never had one complaint. Going to breakfast in the morning.

Loved the whole experience ... staff was excellent with fun stories of growing up in the area. Pappy checked in to be sure our meal was just right ... which it was! Their homemade sausage is by far the best breakfast sausage I've ever had. Great value and great menu - we will be back for sure.

Pappy is here and greats you when you sit down. The service is superb. And the food is even better. No booze, no video poker. Great family vibe. Plan on eating here more often.

Good ole Pappy's...I love this place! My brother and I were visiting from Spokane Wa and found Pappy's. Pappy made us feel just like at home. They do things the good ole fashioned way here. Personable service and good ole home cooking meal. The chicken fried steak was out of this world, so we decided we needed to come back again the next morning for Pappy's sausage patties...man those are the best!!! We got some clam chowder to go and it was the best clam chowder I've ever had...hands down. We really had a great time at this place and enjoyed seeing how happy Pappy was to visit with all of his customers...he even sat down and visited with us. We will definitely be back!! It's a great place with a great story!

Good staff and service, polite and helpful. The breakfast of bacon and eggs were cooked to perfection, crisp hashbrowns and good wheat toast. The coffee and half and half were delicious and fresh. The parking lot was full, so I had to park down the street and walk, but it was worth it.

This place does not care about the safety of it's guests. They opened for dine in against the Governor's order during the middle of a PANDEMIC. Don't support places like this.

Not greasy at all. Retro checkered red tile. Clean as a whistle. Food is all high end as far as cuts of meat etc. But very straight forward diner style. Zero inspiration. Just eggs bacon and toast or taters.

Visiting my niece from Spokane and the food was amazing I had the hash. The staff was outstanding and Pappy was super funny with a great attitude!

This place keeps getting rave reviews from locals, but we tried it twice. The first visit was okay. Gave it another shot, and it turned us away for good. It took a really long time for our food to come despite that it wasn't very busy and the waitress didn't check on us much or ask if we needed anything. Then when the food did come, well, it lived up to its name I guess. It was greasy. The home fries were lukewarm and tasted like they had been cooked some time ago. Perhaps reheated. Perhaps just kept in a warmer for too long. Definitely not fresh. I'd rather spend my breakfast money at Denny's (always have good service there) or Wild Hare.

Excellent food and tremendous service. Place is clean and beautiful. A little hard to find because it's inside a business park but totally worth the search! Definitely recommend.

This place is great! Pappy is super nice, the food is great, extra nice to me and my son. Real family friendly atmosphere! I will be back again for sure. I ordered the chicken fried steak and it was perfect, great crust. My son got the French toast and made it disappear in 5min. Check this place out, it doesn’t disappoint.

Pappy and his wife(?) are a delight, floating around greeting people and making jokes at their own expenses. Our kids loved it.The food they make is really good - all the comfort dishes (chicken-fried steak, biscuits and gravy, omelets, giant pancakes, etc) plus some things you don't see a lot any more (pork chop and eggs). Prices weren't bad either.

This restaurant defined the government ordered shutdown and opened for in-person dinning. Thereby endangering their community

Second time we ate here. The service (Dave) was quick and the corn beef hash was great! I'll eat here every time im in Canby.

Was doing take out but NEVER AGAIN. You are showing zero concern for those that have tried to support your business but are vulnerable.Who ever shows up now?....good luck....

I love pappys. Best food ever. I've known Mike for years and hes known my grandpa for as long as I can remember. They treat you just like family. Great pricing and even better food. Huge portions

Waited over an hour. The eggs were over cooked and the country steak n gravy was small with small amout of ok gravey. The hashbrows and toast were good. Water has aftertaste.

It's a definitely a greasy spoon. The thing that makes Pappies a great place to eat is the people. Although I myself will not be returning because it's not my style of food I have to give them a five-star for attitude and service. So if you're looking for the good old-fashioned, greasy diner food with a smile and a whistle stop and try Pappy's. The sincerity of the people is comforting.
